An agreement between you and Meredosia Tech LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. Effective 16 October 2026. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
In these terms, "Commonwild" means Commonwild, the game made and sold by Meredosia Tech LLC. These terms are an agreement between you and Meredosia Tech LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("we"), which makes and sells Commonwild, hosted worlds and creator items through the Meredosia website and the Meredosia suite marketplace. Contact: [email protected].
You must be 13 or older to create an account. A parent or guardian creates and manages any profile for a player under 13 inside a family account and is responsible for that profile. You must be 18 or older, or a parent or guardian buying for your family, to buy.
Coins, pennies, shillings and crowns in the game have no real-money value. They are never sold for money or exchanged for money, and trading them for money outside the game is not allowed.
Be kind and keep players safe. Do not harass, threaten or exploit anyone; do not share sexual content, hate, or anyone's personal information; do not cheat in shared worlds, attack our services or other players' devices, or use the game to break the law. Never ask a child for personal information or to move a conversation off the game. Hosts are responsible for the worlds they run and the charters they write. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we report child exploitation to the authorities.
You keep ownership of what you build and write. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence, without any royalty, to host, store, display and transmit it to run the game and the worlds you share, and to show it (with your username) in Meredosia's own channels when you share it publicly. You can delete your content at any time; copies already shared by link may remain with the people you shared them with. Selling content in the marketplace is covered by the Creator Terms.
Mods run in the game's sandbox. Install them at your own choice; mods made by others are their creators' responsibility. Paid mods are sold under the Creator Terms.
If you believe content in Commonwild infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at [email protected] with the details the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act requires. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
We may update the game and these terms. We will email account holders before any change that reduces your rights takes effect, and we never take away a game you have bought. You may close your account at any time. If we ever stop running Commonwild's online services, we will release a self-hosting server so your licence and worlds keep working.
We work hard to keep Commonwild running, but it is provided as is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, where Meredosia Tech LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Write to us first and we will try to fix it within 30 days. Either side may bring a claim in small claims court. Consumers in the EU and UK may also use the courts where they live.
