Hardcore, Manhunt and Speedrun as data, and new blocks, creatures and machines through the same rows.

Wave 14 makes the rules of a world data. A rule pack is a row with 14 settings plus modes, splits and goals; Hearth Age, Hardcore, Manhunt and Speedrun ship as rows. The rules are stored in the world and shared with everyone in it, and switching rules takes a saved copy first. Every run keeps a record as a ledger row. A new world opens with a panel to choose its rules and packs; Hardcore ends with a memorial screen, Speedrun has a timer and Manhunt a compass that points at the runner.
A pack is also a row: blocks, items, creatures, machines, recipes and patterns, checked by a validator that refuses with plain reasons. A pack exports from a world and has a marketplace listing row ready, and the Builder in the suite has a Rules and packs panel. The test pack adds a glazed tile, hill goats and a cider press that works.

Manhunt and the speedrun splits are proven only with scripted players. A pack can add only 9 blocks for now because the material table is capped at 256, creature bodies are boxes, and a pack cannot be unloaded yet.
Live on our demo host since live rebuild 26 on 17 October 2026. The demo host is our own test server; since that rebuild a shared world on it can be joined from a link over the internet.
Every wave closes with a play test on the build machine in the browser: a scripted story test that plays the new loop end to end and reloads the world to check it came back exactly, the older waves' story tests run again on the merged build, the engine's unit tests, and a 15-minute soak that records frame rate, faults and world memory. The numbers above come from those runs, as written in our build tracker.
